COFFEE AND THE PHILOSOPHY

In a school reunion event, several alumni encountered their former school teacher.
Seeing the alumni busy discussing their success, the teacher immediately went to the kitchen and picked up a pot of hot coffee and several different cups of coffee. Ranging from cups made of crystal, glass, melamine and plastic. The teacher told the alumni to take a cup and fill it with coffee.

After each alumni had filled his cup with coffee, the teacher said, "Notice that you all chose a good cup and now all that's left is a cheap and unattractive cup."

"Choosing the best thing is natural and human. But the problem is, when you don't get a good cup your feelings begin to interfere. You automatically see the cup that someone else is holding and start comparing. Your mind is focused on the cup, but what you enjoy is not the cup. but the coffee. " said the teacher.

Our lives are like coffee in the analogy mentioned above, while the cup is our work, position and property. The moral, never let the cup affect the coffee we enjoy.

The cup is not the main, the quality of the coffee is the most important. Don't think that abundant wealth, a good career and an established job are guarantees of happiness.

That's a very wrong concept. The quality of our lives is determined by "what is inside" not "what is seen from the outside". What is the point of us having everything, but we have never felt calm and happiness in our lives? It was very sad, because it was the same as we enjoyed stale coffee served in an expensive and expensive crystal cup.

"The key to enjoying coffee is not how good the cup is, but how good the quality of the coffee is." close the teacher.
